Do you have a passion for languages, writing, and quality assessment? We’re launching an exciting new language evaluation project and are seeking Swahili-speaking professionals to join our team.

In this position, you’ll help train AI systems to better understand, generate, and refine language through structured evaluation and writing tasks—all from home and on your own schedule.

Your Responsibilities:

– Review AI-generated content for accuracy, grammar, and cultural relevance.
– Spot issues and rewrite responses to improve quality.
– Develop natural Swahili prompts and replies to enhance conversational datasets.
– Work with international teams to support the improvement of AI language models.

Project Information:

– Start Date: Mid-September
– Duration: 4 weeks
– Time Commitment: Around 20 hours per week (flexible)
– Type: Freelance contract
– Location: Remote work from Tanzania or Kenya

Qualifications:

– Teaching experience or background in Swahili writing (preferred but not required)
– Strong writing skills and excellent grammar
– Understanding of Swahili cultural context
– Comfortable with structured tasks like ranking responses, writing prompts, checking grammar, and editing text
