The Position:

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Compliance and AML Officer to join one of our affiliated companies in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting compliance operations, conducting due diligence and AML client assessments, and assisting with regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assist the Head of Compliance & AML in developing, updating, and enforcing compliance policies and procedures in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
– Carry out compliance audits and generate detailed reports on potential compliance concerns.
– Perform customer due diligence and client reviews.
– Communicate with clients, maintain and update their records and risk profiles, and escalate issues when necessary.
– Conduct regular reviews of both new and existing clients to detect potential money laundering risks.
– Revise and maintain the company’s AML/CFT Manual, Risk-Based Approach, and associated policies.
– Identify and report suspicious transactions related to money laundering or terrorist financing.
– Help prepare and submit reports to CySEC and other relevant regulatory bodies.
– Work closely with internal departments to address and resolve compliance breaches or concerns.
– Keep accurate records of all compliance-related activities and procedures.
– Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting the company.
– Participate in additional compliance-related tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:

– A degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
– CySEC Advanced or AML certification is a plus.
– Familiarity with fund management regulations is an advantage.
– Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
– Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
– High level of integrity and confidentiality.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
