As a MIT at Insomnia Cookies, you will:

– Act as the Manager-on-Duty during shifts when the Store Operations Manager is not present
– Supervise, train, and support a team of 2–5 employees handling both in-store sales and deliveries
– Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly team members
– Conduct initial interviews for potential hires in the absence of the manager
– Assist the Store Operations Manager with inventory, ordering, and scheduling
– Ensure team adherence to company standards (baking, uniforms, policies, etc.)
– Promote upselling and deliver exceptional customer service, while encouraging the team to do the same

Preferred qualifications:

– Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role in a restaurant or retail setting
– Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly roles
– Familiarity with POS systems
– Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and applicant tracking systems
– Availability to work 4–5 days per week, including 1–2 evening shifts from Thursday to Sunday
– Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
