The Intake Administrator is responsible for handling multiple communication channels to gather and input information into a data entry workflow system. This position requires strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage incoming communications.

This is a fully remote role, but applicants must reside in Iowa to be considered. The position offers a starting pay of $16.00 per hour, with weekly pay, paid time off, and benefits available after 30 days of employment.

Key Responsibilities include:

– Timely electronic printing/importing of emails from shared Microsoft Outlook inboxes
– Timely electronic printing/scanning/importing of faxes
– Assisting with printing documentation or messages from provider service portals
– Applying correct naming conventions and routing documents to the appropriate workflow
– Uploading electronic documents into Document Locator
– Providing updates on workflow status and initiating follow-up communications as needed
– Handling personal health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA standards

Required Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
– Ability to multitask and transition between tasks efficiently
– Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
– Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing policies and procedures
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively
– A wired broadband internet connection (Ethernet only; no satellite, DSL, or mobile networks)
– A quiet, distraction-free home workspace

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience with medical billing or terminology
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams

Physical Requirements:

– Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements
– Primarily sedentary work involving extended periods of sitting
– Visual acuity including peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
