– Maintain and update payroll process documentation and standard procedures
– Verify payroll controls and report any discrepancies to management
– Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Finance, Engineering, and third-party vendors
– Communicate payroll policies, deductions, and tax information clearly to employees and partners
– Audit benefit data integrations between Workday and vendor systems for accuracy
– Review payroll reports to detect and address errors or inconsistencies
– Contribute to special projects, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ad hoc analysis

What We’re Looking For:

– At least 3 years of relevant payroll experience
– Solid understanding of payroll tax compliance and multi-state payroll operations
– Proficiency in Workday and ADP SmartCompliance
– Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, and reconciliation
– Advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas)
– High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
– Proactive, adaptable, and hands-on with a strong work ethic
– Detail-oriented with a focus on automation and continuous improvement
– Able to work independently and collaboratively
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance

Location & Work Environment:

– This role is based in New York, NY
– Flexible work environment with 2–3 days per week in the office
– Collaboration hours align with Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Compensation & Benefits:

– U.S. base salary range: $59,298 to $84,712, plus equity
– Benefits include health insurance, six months of paid parental leave, 401(k), monthly meal allowance, 23 paid vacation days, 13 flexible holidays, and paid sick leave
