2025-2026 Postdoctoral Fellowship Program:
This fellowship is designed to train clinical psychologists in delivering evidence-based therapy in outpatient settings. Fellows will work with a diverse clientele and receive comprehensive training, including didactics, individual supervision, and group consultation.
Eligibility:
Applicants must have completed a doctoral program in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited institution and internship. Candidates should be interested in a long-term role following the one-year fellowship.
Training Tracks:
– Child, Adolescent, and Family Therapy
– Adult Therapy
– Generalist Therapy
– Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH)
IBH Track Highlights:
– Provide brief assessments, consultations, and evidence-based interventions
– Learn integrated primary care models and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
– Thrive in a fast-paced environment with diverse clinical presentations
Training Components:
– Evidence-based treatments (CBT, health psychology, psychodynamic therapy, telepsychology, etc.)
– Didactic seminars
– Weekly individual and group supervision
– Specialty consultation groups (e.g., trauma, eating disorders, geriatrics, couples therapy)
Didactic Topics May Include:
– Ethics and professional issues
– Psychopharmacology
– Assessment and psychopathology
– Evidence-based treatments
– Cultural competence
Supervision:
Fellows receive weekly individual supervision, participate in group case consultations, and have access to risk management support as needed.
Prerequisites:
Applicants must have earned a doctorate in psychology from an accredited program and completed an APA-accredited internship. All degree requirements must be completed before the fellowship begins.
Fellowship Details:
– Start date: August 25, 2025
– Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 40 hours/week, including up to two evenings
– No on-call or overnight duties, except for emergency coverage of ongoing patients
– Expected to average 25 clinical hours per week
– Fellows must pursue licensure and complete the EPPP and Massachusetts state exam as soon as eligible
