First impressions are crucial—especially when they happen on platforms we don’t own. We’re searching for a proactive and detail-oriented External Channels & Marketplace Specialist to take full responsibility for how Text is represented across external marketplaces, platforms, and partner ecosystems. This role sits at the crossroads of content, partnerships, and performance. You’ll ensure our brand appears consistently across more than 470 external sites while identifying new ways to increase our visibility and reach.
This isn’t just a maintenance role. We’re looking for someone who views marketplaces as strategic channels, listings as growth levers, and partnerships as opportunities to drive impact—someone who can turn visibility into traffic, and traffic into measurable results.
What you’ll be doing:
– Manage, update, and continually improve our presence on platforms like G2, Trustpilot, Zapier, WordPress, and many others.
– Develop consistent, high-performing listings that align with our brand voice and design standards, keeping them up to date as our product evolves.
– Work with designers and copywriters to create standout visual and written content.
– Proactively launch and manage content-driven partnerships with ecosystem platforms, including joint campaigns, interviews, co-branded content, and more.
– Collaborate with our marketing automation and paid media teams to align listings with review campaigns and advertising efforts.
– Track traffic and performance from listings and partner platforms, using data to guide improvements, experiments, and expansion.
– Gradually take over technical listing management from the Selling Experience team, while contributing to cross-functional initiatives.
You might be a great fit if you:
– Have excellent written and spoken English (C1 level or higher), as this role involves frequent external communication.
– Are a strong communicator and writer, skilled at crafting clear and persuasive copy for listings and marketing content.
– Have experience in growth, SEO, or conversion optimization.
– Are confident managing external relationships and coordinating with both internal and external teams.
– Have some background in digital content publishing, marketplace platforms, or partner marketing.
– Enjoy identifying overlooked opportunities and turning vague ideas into real, impactful campaigns.
– Are comfortable working asynchronously across time zones and can drive progress independently.
Bonus points if you:
– Have experience working with B2B SaaS products or marketplaces.
– Can share a portfolio of listings or content partnerships you’ve contributed to.
About the team:
You’ll be part of the First Impression Experience team, which is responsible for how Text is perceived before users sign up. You’ll collaborate with Designers, Automation Specialists, and Product Marketers, and work closely with technical teams and the Selling Experience group on listings involving app integrations.
