Protective is looking for a skilled and professional Automotive Claims Adjuster to join our remote team. In this position, you’ll handle claims, assess new losses, and conduct investigations while delivering outstanding customer service. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
– Provide professional and helpful support over the phone, explaining claim processes and coverage details.
– Approve claims and manage a high volume of incoming calls.
– Complete all required documentation following company procedures.
– Perform additional duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to act quickly and independently.
– Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
– Empathetic listener with sound judgment and critical thinking to know when to escalate issues.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
Qualifications:
– At least 1 year of experience using StoneEagle menu and administration software.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automotive service role, such as Automotive Technician or Service Writer/Advisor.
– Proficient with modern computer systems, software, and communication tools.
– Proven ability to manage conflict and ensure customer satisfaction in challenging situations.
– Previous experience in an inbound call center or similar customer service environment is highly preferred.
– High school diploma required; some college education is a plus.
Important Details:
– Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7 AM and 7 PM CST/CDT, with a rotating Saturday every 6–8 weeks. New hires are expected to work a 10 AM–7 PM CDT shift.
Compensation:
– Annual salary range: $50,000–$57,000. Actual pay may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This role also includes the opportunity for annual performance-based incentives.
