Join Appen as an Independent Contractor for Project Armanda

We are looking for participants for Project Armanda, an ongoing, flexible assignment focused on evaluating text-to-speech audio clips. In this role, you’ll listen to audio recordings in German and rate how the voice sounds based on specific guidelines. No prior experience in linguistics or audio analysis is needed—your personal opinion is what matters most.

Main Responsibilities:

– Listen to German-language audio clips
– Evaluate the voice quality and clarity using provided criteria
– Submit your ratings within 2–3 days of receiving the task
– Use Appen’s ADAP tool (accessible via Chrome or Firefox on a desktop or laptop)

Requirements:

– A computer with Chrome or Firefox (mobile devices are not supported)
– A reliable internet connection
– Native-level fluency in German and currently residing in Germany

Additional Information:

You’ll be notified by email when a task is available, including a link and instructions to get started. Payment rates vary by task and will be detailed in each task email (please ignore the $0.01/task placeholder currently shown).

This is a project-based role through CrowdGen, where you’ll join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor.
