What You’ll Do
We’re seeking someone who thrives in the early stages of a project, is passionate about coding, curious, and eager to grow. You’ll be one of the first members of a new backend team focused on building products for our Generation division.
Your first project will be a greenfield initiative in renewable energy and finance—perfect for someone who enjoys starting from scratch, shaping structure, and building systems from the ground up. You’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact, influence the backend’s evolution, and work closely with skilled engineers and a seasoned commercial and project team. It’s a chance to experience the agility of a startup within a rapidly growing global EnTech company.
What You’ll Need
– A passion for building functional, scalable products that customers love, and a mindset for continuous learning and development
– Experience developing web service backends for mobile or web apps using Python/Django
– At least 2 years of experience in the Python ecosystem
– Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate on vision and feature development
– Ability to write reliable, fault-tolerant software
– Familiarity with or interest in learning GraphQL APIs is a plus
– Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, insurance) is a bonus
– Solid understanding of Git
– Experience with continuous integration and deployment
