We’re looking for native Malay speakers to take part in our Voice Data Collection Project and support the development of AI through speech.

Project Overview:

– Record 500 short, pre-written phrases in both Malay and English
– Total time required: approximately 2.5 hours (including reviewing instructions)

Eligibility:

– Native Malay speaker
– Fluent in English
– Currently living in Malaysia
– Must be 18 years or older
– Own a smartphone that supports the Appen Mobile app

Compensation:

– You must complete at least 90% (450 recordings) with acceptable quality to receive payment
– Recordings that don’t meet the 90% quality threshold will not be paid
– One-time payment of $18
