We are looking for professionals based in Brazil to work as a Squad Leader on a project for a major client.

Responsibilities and requirements:

– Lead a multidisciplinary team, overseeing activities through agile ceremonies and following the roadmap;
– Ensure the use of best agile practices and tools, acting as a guardian of software development best practices;
– Build, implement, measure, and report on productivity, quality, and effectiveness metrics;
– Manage risks and changes;
– Conduct business demand discovery in collaboration with the Architect, using AI in pre-development stages, interfacing with stakeholders to ensure alignment and continuous communication. This includes questioning, proposing ideas, and delivering high-value solutions while meeting functional and technical requirements and ensuring process efficiency;
– Ensure all necessary activities for delivery are planned according to the roadmap and project needs;
– Serve as the main support for the development team, fostering self-management;
– Support people management by understanding team members’ skills and enabling their growth through responsibility distribution;
– Ensure readiness and completion of tasks according to team-defined criteria;
– Facilitate alignments that drive continuous improvement within the team;
– Support or lead story refinement processes, tailoring detail levels to team seniority and expected velocity;
– Manage blockers to avoid delivery disruptions.
