About the Role
Lyra is focused on meeting urgent and costly mental health challenges by providing specialized care where it’s most needed. Our Center of Excellence for Neurodiversity offers neuropsychological evaluations, diagnoses, and personalized support for ADHD, autism, and learning differences. We are seeking a contract Neuropsychologist who is passionate about holistic mental health care for individuals and families.
This contract position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a collaborative team setting, working alongside psychologists, therapists, and psychiatrists. Successful candidates are results-oriented, detail-focused, process-driven, and comfortable working with data. We welcome applicants who are independent, adaptable, and flexible.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for clients of all ages, involving families and other relevant sources
– Analyze a broad range of psychological and neuropsychological test batteries, occasionally administering tests directly
– Act as an expert in the use and interpretation of neuropsychological tools
– Supervise psychometrists to ensure accurate data collection
– Prepare in-depth evaluation reports and concise summaries for clients, families, and referring professionals
– Lead clear and supportive feedback sessions to explain results, diagnoses, and recommendations
– Collaborate with the client’s care team—including psychiatrists, care managers, and wellness coaches—to guide treatment planning
– Provide services both in-person and virtually
Requirements:
– Doctorate in Psychology from an APA-accredited program
– Preferred: One-year predoctoral internship and two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology
– Equivalent experience, supervision, or training may be considered
– Licensure in California or New York preferred
– PSYPACT authorization or eligibility preferred
– Experience with both virtual and in-person assessments
– Comfortable using web-based platforms
– Strong communication skills in therapeutic settings
– Ability to provide care virtually or in-person from your own office
