Welocalize is seeking a Subject-Matter Expert Reviewer to join our Traditional Chinese language team for one of our top global luxury brand clients.

Project Details:

Job Title: English to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) Reviewer/QC
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Remote (based in Taiwan)
Daily Volume: 6,000 words
Employment Type: Freelance

Main Responsibilities:

– Act as a translator/reviewer with deep expertise in the fashion and apparel industry, including familiarity with clothing terminology.
– Conduct bilingual reviews and offer professional insights from a clothing production and design perspective.

Required Skills:

– Native speaker of Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).
– Specialized knowledge in garments and apparel.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in the translation/localization industry.
– Over 5 years of proven experience in the fashion or apparel field.
– Preference for candidates based in Taiwan.
– Ability to follow specific guidelines, such as character limits.
– Strong communication skills to explain translation choices clearly.
