Summary:
Liquor Barn, Party Mart, and DEP’S (BRS), a GoPuff-owned company, operates a chain of retail stores offering spirits, beer, wine, and party supplies throughout Kentucky. With 23 locations across cities like Louisville, Lexington, and Bowling Green, our delivery service reaches 80% of the state’s population.

The Store Associate plays a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales. This position involves building customer relationships and ensuring a top-tier shopping experience through sales support, customer interaction, and cashier duties.

Key Responsibilities:

– Greet customers, build rapport, and inform them about BRS products and services
– Recommend products based on knowledge of BRS offerings
– Support sales across all departments
– Restock and manage inventory
– Operate cash registers and handle transactions
– Verify customer age as required
– Accept various forms of payment and issue receipts
– Process returns and exchanges
– Balance cash drawer
– Package purchases securely
– Follow procedures for coupons and gift cards
– Maintain safety and cleanliness standards throughout the store
– Support promotional events and BRS activities

Additional Responsibilities (if eligible):

– Adhere to BRS vehicle and delivery policies
– Ensure safety during deliveries
– Deliver orders to customers on schedule
– Report any vehicle issues to management

Qualifications:

– Must be 21 or older
– Valid driver’s license preferred
– Proof of insurance required
– Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
– Willingness to grow retail and product knowledge
– At least one year of retail or customer service experience
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– Positive and engaging attitude
– High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

– Stand and move safely for extended periods
– Lift items up to 50 pounds
– Safely handle products and equipment
– Bend and kneel as needed
