We’re currently hiring for our Ann Arbor office, home to the Nutshell team. Nutshell is an award-winning CRM and email marketing platform that officially joined forces with WebFX in 2022. You might be a great fit if you have:

– A Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or related fields preferred)
– A GPA above 3.5
– Some relevant experience or skills (this is an entry-level role and training is provided, but the following are a plus):
– Programming experience through part-time jobs, volunteering, or internships
– Front-end development experience (JavaScript, React, etc.)
– Familiarity with modern development frameworks (e.g., Symfony, Rails)
– Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
– Understanding of HTTP API design (JSON-RPC, REST, GraphQL)
– Experience with unit testing and continuous integration

About the Role:

As a Junior React Developer, you’ll collaborate with teammates across different tech stacks at Nutshell. You’ll sharpen your skills with a frontend team using React and React Native for web and mobile, while also building out GraphQL and cloud infrastructure. You’ll work with data stored in MySQL and Solr on AWS, and thanks to our rapid development environment, you’ll deploy peer-reviewed, tested code to production on day one.

Our tech stack includes:

– Backend: PHP, Symfony, Nginx, MySQL, Solr, Gearman on AWS, managed with Ansible
– Frontend: React, React Native, Redux, Webpack
– Development tools: Docker for local dev, GitHub for code management, Jenkins for CI
