Join the Appen team as an Independent Contractor for Project Armanda. This ongoing, as‑needed project involves evaluating text‑to‑speech audio samples. You will listen to short clips read in US Spanish and rate how each voice sounds based on specific task guidelines. The work is entirely opinion-based and does not require any background in linguistics or audio technology.

Key responsibilities:
– Listen to audio recordings in US Spanish.
– Assess each clip’s clarity and voice quality using the provided criteria.
– Finish assignments within 2–3 days of receiving them.
– Complete all ratings using Appen’s ADAP tool, available on Chrome or Firefox on a computer.

Key requirements:
– A computer with Chrome or Firefox (mobile devices cannot be used).
– A stable internet connection.
– Native proficiency in US Spanish and current residence in the United States.

No specialized skills are needed; training and qualification steps will be provided before you begin the task.

This is a project-based position with Appen, where you will work as an Independent Contractor in the Appen Connect Community. If selected, you will receive an email with instructions to create and set up your Appen account using the email you provided. Once your account is ready, you can proceed with the application for this project.
