Our Mission
At Big Health, we aim to help millions achieve better mental health by offering fully digital, non‑medication treatments for the most common mental health issues. Our FDA‑cleared digital therapeutics—SleepioRx for insomnia and DaylightRx for anxiety—provide patients with first‑line, evidence‑based cognitive and behavioral therapy whenever and wherever they need it. Our Spark Direct program also supports individuals experiencing ongoing depressive symptoms.

To fulfill this mission, we’ve created the first large‑scale digital therapeutic business model in collaboration with major global healthcare organizations, including leading Fortune 500 healthcare companies and Scotland’s NHS. Through product innovation, rigorous clinical evaluation, and a commitment to equitable access, we are shaping the future of medicine and mental health care.

Our Vision
We believe that over the next 5 to 10 years, digital therapeutics will fundamentally change healthcare delivery around the world by expanding access to safe, effective, evidence‑based treatments. Big Health is poised to lead this evolution.

Big Health operates as a remote‑first company, and this role can be based anywhere in the UK.

Join Us
As the Clinical Lead in Scotland, you will build and maintain relationships between Big Health UK and NHS teams across Scotland. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders—including Primary Care teams, Area Drug and Therapeutic Committees, and the Scottish Government’s Digital Mental Health teams—to ensure that Big Health’s treatments and educational materials are implemented within the NHS in a clinically sound, sensitive, sustainable, and priority‑aligned way.

You will serve as an external advocate for digital therapeutics and act as a point of escalation for clinical safety concerns. You will report to the UK Medical Director. This is a part‑time role (two days per week).

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and carry out market access strategies to integrate our digital therapeutics into NHS Scotland services, working with teams in Effective Prescribing, Primary Care, and Digital Mental Health.
• Offer clinical guidance and support to NHS teams, including help with quality improvement initiatives, training, and educational materials, while remaining aware of clinical priorities and system‑level goals.
• Lead joint real‑world evaluations with NHS partners to assess the impact of our digital therapeutics and the effectiveness of various implementation approaches.
• Build and sustain a community of engaged NHS referrers and clinical champions across regions to promote greater adoption of our digital therapeutics.
• Contribute to Big Health’s thought leadership through written pieces and presentations at webinars and conferences.
• Support patient safety as a first point of clinical contact in the UK, managing in‑hours clinical risk escalations with support from the UK Medical Director.

Required Qualifications
• Current registration as a clinical pharmacist and more than five years of NHS experience in Scotland
• Strong understanding of Primary Care and ADTC teams, their workflows, and how digital therapeutics can integrate into them
• A strong network of colleagues across primary care and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience launching innovative products and driving their adoption in NHS clinical environments
• Ability to lead cultural and behavioral change to support service transformation, such as large‑scale prescribing initiatives or digital rollouts

Core Competencies
• Integrity—you prioritize what is right for patients and understand the importance of trust in healthcare
• Proactivity and organization—you manage projects effectively, set priorities, and ensure stakeholders meet deadlines
• Communication—you excel at delivering clear, accessible information to both clinical and non‑clinical audiences
• High standards—you take pride in producing high‑quality work and pay close attention to detail
• Growth mindset—you welcome learning, adaptation, and constructive feedback

Background and Life at Big Health

Salary
£30,000–£50,000 per year (full‑time equivalent). This is a part‑time role (two days per week), so final pay will be adjusted accordingly. Listed salary covers base pay only; benefits, equity, and bonuses may also be included. Pay varies by role, level, location, and individual qualifications, and ranges may shift based on business needs.
