Kiddom is an innovative educational platform dedicated to advancing equity and student growth by combining high‑quality instructional content with dynamic digital learning. With powerful curriculum management tools, Kiddom enables schools and districts to take full ownership of their curricula, creating learning experiences that reflect the unique needs and priorities of their communities. Its high-quality curriculum is supported by strong data insights for teachers and leaders, helping drive ongoing improvement in instructional choices, school and district programming, and professional learning.

The Math Content Writer will create new math lessons and revise existing materials to align with state-specific standards in the Kiddom digital platform. This role includes writing teacher-facing lesson plans and developing student-facing digital resources that can also be printed.

We are seeking someone with experience teaching elementary, middle, or high school math who has also written or developed math curriculum. This is a short-term contract role requiring a minimum of 15 hours per week.

You will:
• Develop high-quality, original math lessons for kindergarten through Algebra 2 based on specific state standards and a defined scope and sequence
• Write and edit interactive question types within the Kiddom platform
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure all work meets project requirements
• Incorporate feedback and revise submitted materials as needed
• Provide daily progress updates
• Complete additional tasks as required to meet deadlines and deliverables

What we’re looking for:
• Experience creating K–12 math lessons, tasks, teacher guidance, and supplemental materials
• At least three years of math teaching experience
• Availability to work 40 hours per week on this project
• For K–5 writers: classroom experience using manipulatives (digital manipulatives are a plus)
• For high school writers: strong background in Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and some statistics
• Familiarity with Common Core Math standards and experience with state-specific standards
• Understanding of student-centered, problem-based instruction
• Experience teaching the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum is a plus
• Comfort using technology to support math instruction
• Strong attention to detail and openness to feedback

Compensation ranges from $25 to $30 per hour, depending on location, experience, seniority, and demonstrated skills during the interview process.

We are a motivated, collaborative team committed to building transformative education technology and making a meaningful impact in K–12 education. We strive to maintain an inclusive, positive culture where every team member is respected and valued for who they are, not just what they produce.
