Main Purpose of the Role

Are you great at using search engines and finding exactly what you need with just a few keywords? Here’s a unique chance to put those skills to work. Welocalize is seeking a Portuguese (Brazil) speaker based in Brazil to support our client’s project as a Junior Quality Coordinator.

Main Duties

In this role, you will serve as the junior coordinator for our Search Quality Rater project. Tasks will be completed in both Portuguese (Brazil) and English (US). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Performance Analysis
• You may review quality performance data, prepare statistical reports, track progress, and support documentation efforts alongside Quality Coordinators.
• Completes internal assessments.
• Provides feedback on test ranges and queries submitted by the team.
• May offer ad‑hoc guidance to raters and help them understand best practices and client expectations.
• Flags raters who display concerning behavior.
• May review RCAs from team members and request clarification when needed.

Training and Support
• May help develop or review training materials such as best practices, newsletters, and webinars.

Analytics, Reporting, Knowledge, and Asset Management
• May track and analyze data as required.

Communication
• May attend meetings with various stakeholders with the support of Quality Coordinators.
• Monitors incoming questions from raters.

Other
• May handle additional project‑specific tasks needed to meet OKRs.

Project Details
Location: Remote, must be based in Brazil
Hours: Part‑time 20 hours/week or full‑time 40 hours/week
Start date: As soon as possible
Employment type: Freelance/independent contractor

Required Skills
• Full proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese
• Strong understanding of English
• Must reside in Brazil
• Solid knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese–speaking popular culture
• Must work exclusively on the Search Quality Rating program, not on any other search or ads rating projects
• No previous or current experience with ads quality rating
• Must be the only person in your household working as a Search Quality Rater
• Strong web research and navigation skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Dependable computer and internet connection
• Up‑to‑date antivirus software (as web browsing is part of the job)
• Ability to follow English instructions and comply with project guidelines
• Must sign an NDA to protect client confidentiality
• Must complete learning modules and pass a client‑designed quality test before beginning work
