The Role
The Veeva Curriculum Developer designs creative, technical, and administrator‑level learning content for customers, partners, and employees building skills with Veeva’s products. In this position, you will turn complex information into clear, engaging, and scalable learning experiences across multiple formats for diverse Veeva user groups. You should be comfortable working independently and with SMEs and stakeholders while developing deep expertise in the subject matter.
The ideal candidate has strong experience creating curriculum for technical SaaS products, along with skills in instructional design, system administration, or software development. You will need to quickly pick up new skills to keep pace with product updates and actively support continuous process improvement. What You’ll Do
• Perform instructional research and analyze learner roles with a practical, real‑world perspective
• Apply adult learning principles to design compelling training experiences and supporting materials
• Use modern authoring tools to create, deliver, and revise courses and resources in various formats (instructor‑led, video, e‑learning, labs, assessments)
• Break down complex technical concepts into clear guidance for both functional and technical audiences
• Manage the full curriculum development lifecycle from analysis through evaluation
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure accurate learning objectives and technical precision
• Build working knowledge of Veeva products and technologies, progressing toward subject‑matter expertise
• Develop assessments that measure knowledge, skills, and job performance
• Lead pilot instruction sessions internally or externally, including Train‑the‑Trainer classes
• Support the creation and maintenance of lab environments and data sets for exercises and case studies
• Partner with the Project Manager to execute projects with clarity and on schedule
• Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies to improve training methods
• Provide innovative ideas to enhance training strategy and processes
Requirements
• 3+ years of curriculum development experience, including:
• Creating administrator or technical learning content for interactive software training
• Proficiency with tools for building and publishing interactive courses (e.g., Articulate 360, Camtasia, WellSaid, LMS platforms)
• Strong writing, visual design, and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the life sciences industry with solid knowledge of Safety (pharmacovigilance, drug safety, regulatory compliance)
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality projects on time
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑performing team
• Strong interpersonal skills and initiative for building productive cross‑functional relationships
• Flexibility to take on new challenges and shift direction when needed
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
Nice to Have
• Master’s degree in Instructional Design or a related discipline
• Instructional design or curriculum development certifications (e.g., ATD, CPTD)
• Familiarity with safety data management systems and regulatory standards such as GxP and ICH
• Experience with Veeva products or comparable life sciences SaaS systems
• A portfolio of past course development work

Compensation
• Base salary: $65,000–$140,000
• This salary range complies with local requirements and represents the potential base pay for this role. Actual compensation may fall above or below the range, depending on experience, location, and expected contributions. Additional compensation such as bonuses or stock may also be available.
