The Role
Veeva Certifications recognize the expertise of administrators who use Veeva technologies, services, and data products. Thousands of professionals — customers, partners, and employees — have earned these respected credentials to build job‑ready skills, increase confidence, and advance their careers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Certification and take ownership of the full exam development lifecycle. You will support our expanding customer base and help shape strategies to grow our credential offerings and innovate how we measure skills and performance‑based competencies.
The ideal candidate has a proven background in developing assessments for a modern enterprise SaaS credentialing program across diverse learner groups. You understand the importance of creating assessments that are reliable, fair, and relevant. You will manage exam development and publishing processes and help drive go‑to‑market activities for high‑volume assessment programs. You will partner with curriculum developers to align on personas and job‑task analyses that inform exam and course creation. An entrepreneurial mindset and passion for building new, innovative solutions are essential in this role.
You should be comfortable working independently as well as with subject‑matter experts and stakeholders, and you should naturally seek to build deep expertise. What You’ll Do
• Lead exam development and strengthen Veeva’s credentialing program so processes meet accepted standards for legal defensibility
• Support the growth of the certification program by identifying and implementing process improvements
• Partner with instructional designers and subject‑matter experts to create new badges and certifications by leading job‑task analyses, exam blueprints, and item‑writing workshops
• Work with SMEs and stakeholders to validate exam objectives, ensure item accuracy, manage feedback, and publish approved exams
• Conduct regular exam and item analyses to evaluate quality and recommend updates
• Share credential program insights with cross‑functional teams
• Support customers by developing program messaging, candidate guides, sample items, FAQs, and website content, and partner with operations on certification‑related inquiries
• Manage vendors supporting test development, delivery, psychometric analysis, and badging
• Oversee projects with accuracy, transparency, and on‑time delivery
• Build working knowledge of Veeva products and technologies to engage effectively with experts
Requirements
• Proven success building and managing innovative credentialing programs
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise customer‑facing curriculum or certification programs, preferably in SaaS
• Experience with digital credentialing platforms such as Credily, Accredible, LXPs, or LMSs
• Experience with high‑stakes test development and delivery, including familiarity with vendors and methodologies
• Strong track record of delivering high‑quality projects on time
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships across the business
• Demonstrated flexibility in taking on new challenges and adjusting direction when needed
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Nice to Have
• Master’s degree in Instructional Design or a related field
• Credentials in test development or psychometrics
• Experience in life sciences, including pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or clinical research

Compensation
• Base salary range: $105,000 – $165,000
• This range is provided to meet local requirements. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and individual qualifications. Additional compensation, such as variable bonuses or stock awards, may also apply.
