The Associate Account Executive (AAE) is a senior Sales Development position focused on supporting enterprise accounts by generating pipeline through outbound prospecting and strengthening qualification and early‑stage opportunity progress in partnership with AEs.
What You’ll Do:
• Generate outbound pipeline through cold calls, emails, and multichannel outreach targeting a defined Ideal Customer Profile
• Meet key activity metrics such as call volume, talk time, email volume, and sequence execution
• Execute high‑impact outbound efforts to create Sales Accepted Opportunities
• Schedule and qualify discovery meetings for Mid‑Market and Enterprise AEs
• Conduct deeper early‑stage discovery to capture valuable business context and improve opportunity quality
• Work closely with AEs to ensure smooth handoffs and stronger conversion from SAO to SQO
• Participate in ongoing AE mentorship, deal reviews, and pipeline alignment sessions
• Maintain accurate records of activity, contacts, and opportunities in Salesforce
• Share feedback on messaging, targeting, and outreach performance with Sales and Marketing
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted
• 2+ years of experience as an SDR or BDR
• Successful track record generating pipeline through cold outreach
• Strong phone skills and the ability to lead effective discovery conversations
• Experience supporting Mid‑Market or Enterprise sales is a plus
• Familiarity with Salesforce and sales engagement tools such as SalesLoft, LinkedIn Navigator, and ZoomInfo
• Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, metrics‑focused environment
