Job Description:
The 2025 Summer Internship program offers rising 2026 graduates a chance to engage in an innovative, mission-driven environment. This paid 10-week program includes hands-on mentorship, the opportunity to make meaningful contributions through your project, and the possibility of receiving a full-time offer afterward.

Interns will join the Hardware Test Engineering team, with roles available in Mechanical, Electrical, and Software Engineering. You will work across disciplines, gain exposure to advanced aerospace technologies, and help develop systems that support reliable product testing.

What you’ll do:
• Design and build mechanical fixtures, mounts, and enclosures for test stands.
• Use precision measurement tools and work with mechanical subsystems.
• Support the prototyping, fabrication, and integration of mechanical designs.
• Participate in design reviews and document test stand build processes.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Required qualifications:
• Currently an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD student graduating in December 2025 or Spring 2026.
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
• Strong understanding of core engineering principles.
• Hands-on technical experience in a lab, production environment, or project setting.
• Proven ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results.
• Track record of hard work, reliability, high standards, and kindness toward others.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA.
• Practical experience with machining, 3D printing, or fabrication.
• Demonstrated adaptability, quick thinking, and innovation under pressure to meet changing project needs.

Compensation:
$37–$54 per hour
• Rising Bachelor’s graduate: $37/hour
• Rising Master’s graduate: $42/hour
• Rising PhD graduate: $54/hour
• Housing stipend available for eligible interns.

Intern Program Dates:
June 1 – August 7
OR
June 22 – August 28
You must be able to start on either June 1 or June 22.
