Join Everbridge as our new Clinical Governance Manager (Fully Remote, UK-Based)
Are you driven to improve global medical standards and promote clinical excellence? Everbridge is offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Governance Manager to become part of our dynamic medical team.
This is a fully remote, home-based role open to candidates anywhere in the UK, equivalent to mid-Band 7 level.
Why this role is important
As a key member of our International Assistance Centre, you will join a multidisciplinary clinical team providing 24/7 global medical support to corporate clients and individual travellers. Your clinical expertise will help ensure safe, high‑quality, and compliant care from pre‑travel preparation through to post‑travel follow‑up.
This position emphasises clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement, offering the chance to influence and uphold best practices across our worldwide healthcare operations.
What you’ll do:
• Deliver initial medical assessments, triage, and telemedicine support across a wide range of clinical situations.
• Carry out pre‑deployment checks, travel health reviews, and repatriation planning.
• Review medical documents to ensure safe, appropriate, and high‑quality care.
• Manage complex medical cases, including emergency coordination and medical evacuations.
• Work with global healthcare partners to maintain continuity of care.
• Keep accurate, compliant clinical records within the Case Management System.
• Provide guidance to junior clinicians and help the team deliver top‑tier care.
• Coordinate with insurers, healthcare providers, and corporate clients.
• Support clinical governance activities, audits, and quality assurance under the Deputy Chief Medical Officer.
• Ensure adherence to UK, European, and North American medical regulations, data protection standards, and internal procedures.
What you’ll bring:
• A recognised clinical qualification (nurse, paramedic, physician, or equivalent).
• Professional registration with the appropriate body (GMC, NMC, HCPC, NAEMT/NREMT, etc.).
• Preferred experience in emergency medicine, occupational health, travel medicine, aerospace, or military medicine.
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement principles.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and make sound, patient‑centred decisions.
• Proficiency with telemedicine systems and electronic health records.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent English, with additional languages welcomed.
