Role overview
We are seeking an analytical Billing Manager to oversee and improve our billing operations as we scale. You will tackle complex problems, enhance processes, and deliver clear insights that provide full transparency into revenue and billing performance. Working with Chargebee and NetSuite, you will build smarter workflows, elevate data quality, and reinforce controls across the Order‑to‑Cash cycle. You will also collaborate closely with Commercial teams, offering insights that support strategic decisions while maintaining financial accuracy and compliance across Europe and the US.

How you’ll make an impact
• Lead and mentor the Billing team, promoting accountability, efficiency, and analytical thinking.
• Ensure billing runs accurately, smoothly, and on schedule, while continually improving and simplifying processes.
• Oversee recurring and project‑based billing in Chargebee and NetSuite and optimize workflows.
• Drive automation and innovative processes while ensuring precise revenue recognition for our SaaS model.
• Partner with Commercial, Support, and Finance teams to launch new products and campaigns effectively.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and tax and billing regulations in the US and Europe.
• Develop dependable reporting for revenue, billing KPIs, and Accounts Receivable, supported by solid data controls and audit trails.
• Lead system optimization efforts, advocate for automation, and create clear guides and SOPs for the team.

What makes you a great fit
• At least 5 years of experience in billing, finance, or similar fields, with a passion for making complex workflows run effortlessly.
• A natural problem solver who creates durable, innovative solutions.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Confident working with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Detail‑oriented, hands‑on, and always looking for ways to improve.
• An effective business partner who communicates clearly and collaborates easily with Commercial, Support, Product, and Finance teams.
• Motivated to make an impact, lead change, and support the growth of the team and company.

Bonus points
• Experience in SaaS scale‑ups.
• Knowledge of US sales tax and European VAT.
• Familiarity with Chargebee and NetSuite.
• Experience with BI tools or SQL.
