We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Accounts Receivable and Cash Collection Manager to lead our AR team and oversee the entire cash collection process. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven background in managing teams and optimizing AR and collections.
Your Mission at Aircall:
– Lead, support, and develop the AR and Cash Collection team, encouraging collaboration and high performance.
– Supervise daily operations, review team output, and ensure accountability for performance and growth.
– Manage all AR and cash collection processes, including invoice integration across all legal entities.
– Maintain accurate customer master data.
– Monitor and reduce accounts receivable aging and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
– Assess and manage doubtful accounts, contributing to the reduction of bad debt provisions.
– Oversee monthly AR closing and reporting activities.
– Establish and enhance AR and collection policies and controls.
– Ensure data accuracy across AR systems and implement improvements.
– Evaluate payment methods and related transaction fees.
– Participate in or lead projects affecting accounting and AR processes.
– Provide performance insights and analysis related to AR and collections.
– Coordinate and lead all AR-related audits, including annual and tax audits across entities.
– Maintain comprehensive knowledge and control of AR tools (e.g., ZAB, Salesforce).
– Manage revenue recognition processes.
Education & Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
– At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a fast-growing, international SaaS company.
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles with experience managing AR and/or cash collection teams.
– Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
– Background in international organizations, audit, or SaaS is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
– Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach and keen attention to detail.
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets).
– Technically adept and able to navigate and troubleshoot AR-related systems.
– Excellent organizational and planning abilities with a track record of managing workflows effectively.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English (French is a plus), with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000 per year
