Imagine starting each day excited to work, knowing that your communication and support help shape the future of learners around the world. If you’re a passionate communicator who excels in both structured environments and creative writing, we have an exciting opportunity for you at the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF)!

We’re looking for an Admin and Support Specialist who’s eager to grow—someone who will begin by assisting our members through written communication and internal operations, and gradually transition into content and course creation.

This isn’t just a job change—it’s a chance to elevate your career on a global scale. At IxDF, we’re more than a company; we’re a mission-driven organization committed to making top-quality design education accessible to everyone, everywhere.

With learners and team members from over 100 countries, your role will have a global impact. From engaging with diverse cultures to contributing to a platform that reaches millions, no two days will be the same.

Your Role at IxDF

– Communicate daily with members and prospective learners via email, chat, and social media—providing fast, accurate, and helpful responses. You’ll resolve issues, offer guidance, and ensure a smooth user experience.
– Collaborate with our Editorial Team on various writing and editing projects.
– Keep our documentation up-to-date and accessible, helping both internal teams and learners succeed.
– Improve internal processes that affect engagement and performance metrics by analyzing workflows and suggesting enhancements.
– Maintain and contribute to our internal knowledge base, supporting knowledge sharing across departments.
– Work closely with other teams to share customer feedback, helping us improve retention, satisfaction, and growth.
– Represent our values as a key point of contact for our community, welcoming and supporting members through meaningful interactions.
– Take full ownership of your responsibilities, delivering high-quality work independently and on time.
– Over time, develop your skills to contribute to the creation of world-class educational content—such as articles, templates, exercises, videos, and more—playing a role in the editorial process behind our global courses.

Do You Share Our Vision?

Our learners don’t just purchase courses—they invest in becoming better versions of themselves. Every message we send, from support replies to course descriptions, should inspire and reflect our mission.

– Paint a picture of the dream outcome: Help people envision a future filled with creativity, purpose, freedom, and impact through great design.
– Build belief in success: Share real stories and practical examples that make people think, “If they did it, I can too.”
– Break down barriers: Write in a clear, human, and encouraging tone—no jargon, no confusion.

Your writing will do more than explain—it will inspire, energize, and support. Whether it’s a support email, help article, or educational content, your words will bring clarity and confidence to our community.

About You

– You’re a skilled writer with a sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of flow.
– You’re fluent in written and spoken English, with excellent grammar and a deep understanding of tone, brevity, and nuance.
– You thrive in fast-paced environments and handle diverse projects with enthusiasm.
– Precision and thoroughness are second nature to you.
– You enjoy solving problems—especially the ones others haven’t noticed yet—and proactively meet people’s needs.
– You take full responsibility for your work and consistently deliver high-quality results.
– You’re resilient and bounce back quickly with solutions when things go off track.
– You’re highly self-disciplined and thrive in a flat organizational structure with minimal supervision.
– You’re located within a time zone between UTC+0 and UTC+8, making collaboration with our global team seamless.

Bonus Points

– You’re genuinely curious about UX design and how it can improve lives.
– You run a blog or social media page where you create and share original content.
– You enjoy making complex ideas easy to understand and love teaching or explaining concepts.
– You excel at creating structure and take pride in organizing tasks and processes efficiently.
