Senior Agile Coach – Based in Cyprus, Greece, or Remote
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Agile Coach to join our Project Management team.
As a Senior Agile Coach, you will lead the organization’s agile transformation by mentoring teams and leadership in adopting lean-agile practices. Your focus will be on evaluating agile maturity, enhancing delivery processes, and addressing execution challenges. This role blends coaching, facilitation, and mentorship to drive change across all levels of the organization, ensuring agile practices align with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
– Act as a trusted advisor, coaching teams and leadership on integrating agile principles into their work environments. Design and implement effective agile transformation plans.
– Create and manage change strategies, anticipating resistance and developing risk mitigation approaches.
– Provide training, mentorship, and support to development teams, architects, managers, and business stakeholders by clarifying roles and promoting best practices.
– Utilize a variety of proven techniques to close gaps in agile practices and support the organization in achieving agility through innovative operating models.
– Evaluate the organization’s agile maturity and guide teams and leaders toward sustainable improvements.
– Champion the use of comprehensive agile metrics that go beyond delivery to measure customer value and business outcomes, ensuring visibility through dashboards and tools.
– Design and deliver training programs on Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and other relevant methodologies for both novice and experienced practitioners.
– Lead the creation of an Agile Center of Excellence, incorporating industry standards and best practices.
– Work closely with leadership to define and implement the enterprise agile strategy, fostering a culture of ongoing learning and development.
– Drive change initiatives by communicating the vision, reinforcing progress, and embedding new behaviors.
– Offer hands-on support and coaching to teams and Scrum professionals, helping leadership transition to modern operational models.
Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Communications, Business, Technology, or a related field.
– Over 5 years of experience in agile roles within large-scale environments.
– Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to foster agile-friendly environments and practices.
– Strong technical and business acumen across various domains and workflows.
– Certified in at least one of the following: A-CSM, PSM2, CSP-SM.
– Knowledge of scaled agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS.
– Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior technical leaders, executives, and key stakeholders.
– Skilled in identifying process inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
– Expertise in organizational change management.
– Detail-oriented, hands-on, and committed to excellence.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
– Strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities.
– Demonstrated leadership and the ability to perform well under pressure.
