We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with solid experience in Selenium using either C# or Java. The ideal candidate is proactive, capable of contributing immediately, and comfortable working independently. This is a full-time remote role offered as a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension based on performance. Please note that the position requires working night shifts to align with the time zone of our U.S.-based client.

Qualifications:

– A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Selenium and either C# or Java is required.
– Strong knowledge of Visual Studio .NET with C# or Java, XPath, JavaScript, SQL, API testing, and Postman.
– Proven ability to conduct functional testing, including designing, implementing, and executing test cases based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.
– Familiarity with industry-standard testing practices such as defect reporting, regression testing, and maintaining test documentation.
– Experience collaborating with stakeholders to define and refine acceptance criteria to ensure software meets business needs.
– Capable of independently writing test cases from complex technical specifications.
– Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills, strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and a dedicated work ethic.
– Team collaboration skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
– Knowledge of JMeter or similar performance testing tools.
