As a Senior Content Marketer at Animalz, you’ll be responsible for implementing and managing content strategies for a group of fast-growing B2B tech clients on our Enterprise/Campaigns team. Your role will center on creating engaging, audience-driven content that delivers measurable business results.

This position goes beyond writing. You’ll manage content workflows, delegate tasks to freelancers, collaborate with designers, and serve as a strategic partner to clients. Working closely with the Heads of Content, you’ll turn strategy into execution and coordinate with editors and subject matter experts to ensure all content is thoughtful, valuable, and aligned with business goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

– Carry out and adapt content strategies developed by the Heads of Content based on client feedback and evolving needs
– Produce high-impact content—such as blog posts, guides, landing pages, and email campaigns—optimized for SEO and aligned with user intent
– Oversee freelance writers, ensuring timely and high-quality content delivery
– Work with designers to develop visuals for content, including drafting briefs and explaining concepts
– Review and update existing content to boost performance in search rankings, conversions, and engagement
– Manage content calendars and delivery schedules, maintaining high standards while meeting volume targets
– Prepare monthly performance reports for your clients, highlighting key insights and ensuring alignment with their goals
– Share knowledge within the team and learn from peers in a collaborative environment
– Contribute to internal projects, including exploring new services and enhancing AI-powered content processes

What We’re Looking For

– 4–6 years of experience in content marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or at an agency
– Proven success executing content strategies that drive traffic, conversions, engagement, or retention
– Strong client management skills, including proactive communication and feedback handling across multiple accounts
– Excellent writing and editing skills, with a solid understanding of SEO and storytelling
– Experience managing freelance writers in a fast-paced editorial setting
– Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude) and how to use them to support editorial quality
– Proficiency with content and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, HubSpot, Clearscope)
– Experience collaborating with other content professionals and improving internal processes
– Strong communication, organization, and remote collaboration abilities
– Curiosity and a commitment to ongoing learning in content strategy and marketing

Your First 90 Days

Days 1–30: Learn & Integrate

– Complete onboarding and become familiar with our tools and processes
– Get to know your assigned client accounts
– Deliver your first pieces of content with support
– Build relationships with your team and clients

Days 31–60: Execute & Own

– Take ownership of 1–2 client accounts
– Begin managing freelance writers and content calendars
– Present your first performance reports to clients
– Contribute to team meetings and internal projects

Days 61–90: Drive Impact

– Manage content execution for 3–4 client accounts
– Lead strategic adjustments based on performance data
– Share your expertise and help refine team processes
– Show measurable improvements in content results for your clients

Work Environment

Location: Fully remote, open to candidates worldwide

Time Zone: At least 4 hours of overlap with U.S. time zones (EST/PST) required for collaboration

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 USD annually, based on experience and demonstrated impact
