Our Big Data Engineers are seasoned technologists with broad and deep technical expertise, paired with strong people skills. In this role, you’ll collaborate directly with customers and internal teams to drive innovation through continuous, hands-on deployment across multiple technology stacks. You’ll create data pipelines and develop data engineering code, including advanced data queries and algorithms.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Develop sophisticated ETL processes
• Write advanced SQL queries across MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, MariaDB, and MySQL
• Work with cloud-based data and analytics tools
• Build solutions using Python, Scala, and R
• Use technologies such as Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Kafka, and others
• Apply skills in AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
• Create complex data engineering workflows
• Design data solutions and build data pipelines
• Build trust and strong relationships with customers to help them become cloud advocates
• Share industry best practices within the community
• Present insights and information at industry events

Qualifications & Experience:
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing distributed applications
• 2+ years in database architecture and data pipeline development
• Proven understanding of software development tools and methodologies
• Confident presentation skills with the ability to speak to executives, IT leaders, and developers
• Strong communication skills and the ability to tailor discussions to the audience
• Technical degree required; computer science or math preferred
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to change
• Experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
