Client Operations Specialist
The Client Operations Specialist supports assigned Client Directors by enhancing gross profit margins and client satisfaction through exceptional service and daily engagement. This role maintains strong relationships with clients before and after sales to ensure long-term success.
Roles and Responsibilities
– Oversee the full transaction process from quote to payment, coordinating internal resources to meet client needs.
– Maintain and review sales pipeline and forecasts with Client Directors; schedule regular meetings to update opportunities in Salesforce.com.
– Independently address client inquiries and issues, collaborating with internal and external teams for resolution.
– Assist Client Directors in structuring deals and preparing pricing and proposals within established guidelines.
– Build and manage vendor relationships to improve communication, secure better pricing, and expedite special requests.
– Process customer orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete before booking.
– Organize monthly meetings with accounts receivable to review outstanding invoices for assigned clients.
– Create and update Client Profiles, maintaining records of past quotes to support future proposals.
– Provide value-added services such as SLAs, presentations, and order history, with a thorough understanding of client processes and structure.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree required
– 2–3 years of sales support experience preferred, especially in the technology sector
– Open to candidates from diverse backgrounds
– Ability to assess client needs and align them with company solutions
– Self-motivated, collaborative, and creative problem-solver
– Experience in high-volume, fast-paced sales environments
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Excellent organizational and time management abilities
– Adaptable and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
– Business acumen and strong math skills, including margin calculations
– Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools preferred
– Effective multitasking and eagerness to understand end-to-end business processes
– Strong work ethic with a focus on work-life balance and a positive attitude
– Confident and assertive in a sales-driven environment
Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 annually
