Overview:
We’re hiring a Nonprofit Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist to support progressive causes like electing Democrats and fighting climate change. You’ll work closely with our digital production and account teams to enhance how our clients use Salesforce Marketing Cloud, contributing to digital advocacy, fundraising, social media, and list-building strategies—for some of the most prominent names in the progressive space.
Key Responsibilities:
– Foster an inclusive and welcoming work environment.
– Design scalable, efficient solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, focusing on email and SMS production, automations, Journey Builder, and data management.
– Offer expert guidance on Salesforce Marketing Cloud best practices and development.
– Identify and resolve technical issues in email, SMS, and other communication channels.
– Train the digital production team on Salesforce Marketing Cloud usage.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
– Ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
– Maintain clear tracking of project progress for leadership visibility.
– Support digital strategies that raise awareness and drive change on critical social, environmental, and political issues.
Required Qualifications:
– 2–4 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including at least 2 years focused on email and SMS production, automations, Journey Builder, and data management.
– Experience with CRM system adoption or migration, particularly related to email/SMS.
– Strong understanding of Salesforce data models and database principles.
– Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
– Proficiency in Excel or similar data tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Engagement Administrator) are highly desirable.
– Experience with medium-to-large nonprofit organizations is a plus.
– Familiarity with CRMs like Luminate Online, Engaging Networks, or Bonterra.
– Experience using JIRA or similar task management tools.
– Background in email production and nonprofit fundraising.
Salary:
$73,000–$81,000 annually, based on experience.
This role is part of a union-represented collective bargaining unit, and employment terms are subject to collective bargaining. The official title upon hire will be Senior Production Strategist, SFMC.
Location:
We are a remote-first organization with no set return-to-office date. Applicants must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OR, PA, SC, TX, VA, or WI. Florida applicants must comply with e-verify requirements.
