We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Liaison to support communications between parents, schools, drivers, and the student transportation team. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth and positive transportation experience for students. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage inquiries and concerns—sometimes under pressure—are essential.

This position will primarily be based at the Office of Student Transportation, with a shared on-site and remote work arrangement.

Responsibilities:

– Act as the main contact between Saint Louis Public Schools Transportation Division and Zūm, engaging with parents, schools, and drivers on transportation matters.
– Inform parents about bus routes, schedules, and any service updates or disruptions.
– Work with school administrators to address transportation needs and resolve issues promptly.
– Coordinate with dispatchers and drivers to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
– Address and resolve parent concerns professionally and effectively.
– Keep detailed records of customer interactions and follow up on unresolved matters to ensure satisfaction.
– Assist with transportation logistics for special events as needed.
– Support communication and contingency planning during emergencies or incidents involving buses.
– Stay informed on company policies and transportation regulations to provide accurate information.
– Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 annually

The base salary range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000, with actual compensation dependent on location, experience, and skills. Additional compensation such as bonuses, equity, or commissions may apply. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), holidays, vacation, and more.
