Welo Data is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team and help drive advancements in AI technology. This position provides a unique opportunity to work hands-on with innovative AI products, enhancing machine learning models through accurate data analysis and quality control.

Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Bay Area, CA (Onsite)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Start Date: June 2025
Employment Type: W2 Full-Time Employee

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Evaluate new AI products and provide feedback to improve performance and user experience.
– Perform detailed data annotation and quality checks on natural language datasets according to established standards.
– Assist in updating and optimizing machine learning models for better accuracy and efficiency.
– Review data for consistency, relevance, and alignment with project objectives.
– Conduct quality assurance to detect and report errors, anomalies, and inconsistencies.
– Apply basic data analysis techniques to generate insights and support ongoing improvements.
– Create clear reports summarizing data quality, AI model performance, and user feedback.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, translation, or a related field.
– 3–5 years of professional experience in linguistics.
– Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for patterns and irregularities.
– Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset in fast-paced settings.
– Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
