Match Affinity, a division of Match Group, powers some of the fastest-growing dating apps. Each month, millions of users turn to our platforms—like BLK and Chispa—to find matches and build meaningful connections.
As a Data Analyst on our Product Analytics Team, you’ll leverage data to understand our users—their needs, behaviors, and how to retain them—ultimately helping them find the best matches. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic insights, support business forecasting, and evaluate the financial impact of new product ideas.
Key responsibilities include:
– Analyzing large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights.
– Collaborating with teams across Finance, CRM, Engineering, and Business Intelligence to enhance user experience.
– Advising teams on A/B testing and guiding initiatives from concept to launch.
– Communicating technical findings to business stakeholders.
– Leading revenue and retention strategies for our products.
– Applying statistical methods to generate insights.
– Investigating customer behavior and trends to support company-wide initiatives.
– Supporting products such as Chispa, BLK, Upward, and Yuzu.
You might be a great fit if you have:
– 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL or structured data and advanced Excel skills.
– Knowledge of applied statistics (e.g., descriptive stats, A/B testing, experimental design, linear modeling, time series analysis); experience with Python, SPSS, SAS, or R is a plus.
– Strong communication skills and a self-starter attitude.
– The ability to go beyond reporting to understand the business implications of data and make strategic recommendations.
– Excellent problem-solving skills.
– A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or an MBA with a quantitative focus.
– Experience in product analytics for digital platforms, including mobile apps and consumer internet.
– Fluency in English.
