We’re looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our Data Science team and contribute to the exciting field of mobile and digital analytics. As a Data Analyst, you will analyze and monitor app market data, ensuring high-quality insights for our clients. You’ll work independently with global team support and play a key role in evaluating and improving data quality. You’ll help develop and maintain monitoring systems using statistical methods to uphold the integrity of our Intelligence products. Collaboration with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Engineers is essential to enhance our offerings and deliver accurate market estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

– Profile, clean, and monitor data quality; conduct root cause analysis.
– Take ownership of data quality for core Intelligence products.
– Understand complex data structures and relationships.
– Perform regular data monitoring tasks.
– Identify and implement improvements in data quality control.
– Build automated, reusable monitoring tools to maintain data integrity.
– Quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
– Address client questions and ad-hoc requests to maintain trust in our data.
– Analyze new product data quality and support cross-functional teams.
– Understand and suggest improvements to the end-to-end data pipeline.
– Create quality indicators and diagnostic tools for machine learning models.
– Discover patterns in large, diverse datasets.
– Analyze public data for use in current and future projects.
– Gain a comprehensive understanding of Sensor Tower’s data products.
– Communicate effectively with global teams across time zones and functions.

Desired Skills:

– 2+ years of experience in data analysis or data quality.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
– Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar tools.
– Experience in statistical analysis, data querying, processing, and visualization.
– Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau, Grafana, or Superset.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
– Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
– Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
– Self-driven with a keen eye for data issues.
