Overview:
We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer to organize client data for efficient querying and advanced segmentation. Your work will support causes like electing Democrats and fighting climate change. Join us to apply your skills toward innovative solutions that drive social impact.

Responsibilities:

– Develop SQL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
– Design and build data systems
– Work within platforms like Salesforce and Civis to transfer data
– Write SQL queries for advanced segmentation in direct mail campaigns
– Structure data for optimal querying and segmentation
– Assemble large, complex datasets to meet project requirements
– Use multiple technologies to connect systems and transfer data
– Continuously improve data quality and reliability
– Contribute to an inclusive workplace culture
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data infrastructure needs

Required Qualifications:

– 4+ years of professional experience
– Strong proficiency in SQL
– Experience with Civis or similar data warehouse tools
– Skilled in building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures
– High attention to detail
– Innovative mindset for solving data challenges
– Enthusiasm for progressive and philanthropic work

Preferred Qualifications:

– Background in direct response fundraising
– Experience with DBT
– Knowledge of Python
– Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments

Salary for this temporary, benefits-eligible role ranges from $107,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience. The position is limited to a maximum of six months.

Location:
We are fully remote with no set return-to-office date. Applicants must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, ME, MD, MN, MO, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OR, PA, SC, TX, VA, or WA. Florida applicants must comply with e-verify requirements.
