Job Overview:
We are seeking a Data Engineer to help develop and maintain our data infrastructure. In this role, you’ll collaborate with teams across product, engineering, and analytics to ensure our data is dependable, accessible, and optimized for analytics, reporting, and machine learning. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

– Design and implement scalable data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing
– Develop and maintain data warehouse and data lake architectures
– Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to enhance data quality and availability
– Apply best practices in data quality, monitoring, and governance
– Manage ETL/ELT workflows, data transformations, and data modeling
– Help evaluate and integrate modern data tools and technologies
– Participate in on-call rotations to support critical data systems

Required Qualifications:

– 5+ years of experience in data engineering
– Strong skills in SQL and at least one programming language, such as Python
– Practical experience with platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift
– Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow, dbt, or Prefect
– Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes
– Experience working with cloud services such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
– Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
– Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Physical and Cognitive Requirements:

– Ability to sit for extended periods
– Manual dexterity and coordination to use a computer and related equipment

Compensation:
Base salary ranges for full-time new hires in the U.S. vary by geographic zone:

– Zone A: $149,450 – $211,100 + equity + benefits
– Zone B: $164,395 – $232,210 + equity + benefits
– Zone C: $179,340 – $253,320 + equity + benefits
– Zone D: $194,285 – $274,430 + equity + benefits

Final salary will be determined based on factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, internal equity, and market data. Your recruiter will inform you of your specific zone and compensation details during the hiring process.
