Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and precise Data Entry Clerk to become part of our team. The successful candidate will be tasked with entering, verifying, and maintaining accurate data records. This role demands strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work independently.
Key Duties:
– Enter, update, and maintain accurate information in databases, spreadsheets, and other digital systems
– Check data for accuracy and resolve any inconsistencies
– Organize and manage documents and files systematically
– Support data cleanup and quality control efforts
– Create reports and summaries as needed
– Work closely with team members to ensure data accuracy and completeness
– Adhere to established procedures and data privacy/security standards
Compensation: $25 – $45 per hour
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in data entry or a related field is a plus
– Demonstrated experience in a data entry role or similar position
– Strong typing and data entry capabilities
– Exceptional attention to detail and precision
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
– Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
– Knowledge of database systems and related software
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
