As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll collaborate with project managers, strategists, and engineers to help clients uncover insights into their unique challenges and operations.

What you’ll do:

– Identify and build data sets relevant to key business or research questions and conduct statistical analyses to support strategic decisions
– Present statistical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
– Spot and communicate opportunities to enhance products or data systems
– Work closely with client teams and keep the internal KUNGFU.AI team updated on project progress
– Operate in an AI-driven environment that values continuous learning and exposure to new techniques
– Collaborate with machine learning engineers to support and enhance project outcomes

What we’re looking for:

– Strong background in applied statistics and product analytics
– Significant experience with causal inference methods (e.g., propensity scores, regression discontinuity, uplift modeling)
– Ability to form clear hypotheses, conduct appropriate analyses, and explain results to non-experts
– Familiarity with various machine learning models and a comfort with prototyping and evaluation
– Quick to learn and apply new tools, algorithms, and analytical methods
– Proficient in Python and experienced with tools like Jupyter, Git, SQL, Matplotlib, and AWS EC2
– Experience in environments with regular A/B testing, causal inference, or experimental design
– Strong intuition for navigating complex client settings while maintaining excellent service
– Expertise in specialized areas such as causal modeling, power analysis, or econometrics
– A collaborative mindset that thrives in multidisciplinary teams
– Experience applying the scientific method to solve business challenges
– Skilled in data storytelling through visualization, regardless of the tool used
– Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to diverse audiences, with strong writing skills
– Proven track record of managing data science projects end-to-end—from identifying data needs to presenting final insights
