As a Junior Designer & Illustrator, you’ll help bring our mission to life through compelling visual storytelling—making people feel supported, understood, and motivated to care for their mental well-being. You’ll work closely with our design, marketing, and clinical content teams to produce thoughtful visuals, engaging illustrations, and cohesive brand experiences across both digital and print media.

This role is ideal for a creative individual with a keen eye for detail, a passion for mental health, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

Responsibilities

– Assist the Designer and Video Content Producer in creating materials such as posters, social media graphics, leaflets, animations, and more
– Develop new illustrations and update existing ones to grow Lyra International’s illustration library in support of business needs
– Revise and update existing client and marketing materials based on customer feedback
– Provide digital design support to various departments as needed
– Participate in brainstorming and workshop sessions with the Content and Marketing teams
– Maintain consistency in design and branding across all company platforms

Minimum Experience Required

– 1–2 years of experience in illustration and design, either in-house or freelance
– A bachelor’s degree in a design-related field is preferred
– A portfolio of previous work must be included with your application

Minimum Skills Required

– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects, as well as other relevant design tools
– Strong attention to detail
– Creative flair and a strong sense of aesthetics, with the ability to generate fresh and original ideas
– Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects
– Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities, project needs, and client feedback
– A genuine interest in mental health and well-being
– A proactive and self-motivated work style
