About the Role:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping Recast’s cloud technology future. We’re developing a highly available cloud platform and need your expertise to help define and scale it. Using Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps, we deliver code and products to both internal and external users. This role focuses on our North American infrastructure and product offerings. You’ll support hybrid development environments and manage our cloud presence. Your work will directly influence our developer platform and how users interact within our ecosystem.

What You’ll Do:

– Ensure our cloud infrastructure meets uptime and SLA requirements.
– Design and implement reusable Infrastructure as Code to support standardization and scalability.
– Collaborate with a global DevOps team to establish best practices in our cloud environment.
– Lead improvements across our DevOps processes and infrastructure.
– Partner with developers to build and refine CI/CD pipelines.

What You’ve Done:

– 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform roles in a cloud environment (preferably Azure).
– 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
– 2+ years working with cloud monitoring and automation tools.
– 3+ years of experience in software or systems engineering.

What Sets You Apart:

– Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, C++).
– Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Azure Bicep.
– Knowledge of containerization tools like Kubernetes.
– 2 years of experience managing SQL databases (cloud or hosted).
– Understanding of cloud networking, including load balancing, firewalls, and WAFs.

– Salary range: $125,000–$160,000 USD (U.S. based) or $117,000–$145,000 CAD (Canada based), plus 10% annual discretionary bonus potential. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and location.
