About the Role:

The Director of Corporate Communications is the strategic voice behind Docebo’s brand, responsible for enhancing our visibility both externally and internally. This role focuses primarily on external communications (60–70%) while also driving internal engagement (30–40%). The position leads storytelling, public and analyst relations, executive visibility, and internal alignment to strengthen our presence in the learning tech space.

This leader will work closely with senior executives, especially the leadership team, to shape how Docebo is perceived by the world and our employees. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, data-driven, action-oriented, and skilled at turning ideas into impactful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

External Communications & Brand Reputation

– Design and execute a communications strategy that highlights Docebo’s leadership in AI-powered learning.
– Collaborate with product marketing and brand teams to refine our external messaging.
– Track and enhance brand reputation through analyst insights, media coverage, and perception surveys.

Media Relations & Crisis Management

– Build strong relationships with key journalists, editors, and analysts.
– Lead proactive media outreach to maintain a steady presence in top-tier and industry publications.
– Act as the company’s spokesperson during crises, ensuring timely and transparent communication.

Executive Thought Leadership

– Boost the visibility of Docebo’s executives (especially Alessio, Lauren, and Brandon).
– Identify speaking engagements, podcasts, and writing opportunities; manage briefing materials and ghostwriting.
– Partner with social and brand teams to grow authentic executive influence.

Internal Strategic Communications

– Clearly explain major company changes — like our shift to AI-first learning — through thoughtful messaging.
– Deliver impactful internal communications (e.g., town halls, major updates) that foster alignment and clarity.
– Support change management communications in partnership with the People & Culture team.

Qualifications:

– 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, ideally in B2B SaaS or tech
– Proven success in leading PR, internal communications, and executive visibility efforts
– Strong media and analyst connections in the tech/SaaS space
– Exceptional writing, storytelling, and messaging abilities
– Experience managing budgets and working with external agencies
– Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
– Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
– Visionary communicator with a talent for crafting compelling, audience-specific narratives
– Strategic thinker with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging messages
– Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
– Adaptable, creative, and results-oriented, with a deep understanding of digital communication, PR, and brand strategy
