Your Role
You will be the strategic architect of learning experiences for over 200,000 SME users, ensuring each user receives the right guidance at the right time to become fully autonomous with Pennylane.
You will own the strategy and execution of self-serve education for SMEs—designing learning ecosystems, analyzing user behavior, and leading cross-functional initiatives that drive business impact.
You’ll connect user needs, product capabilities, and educational content—turning insights into scalable strategies.
You excel in navigating ambiguity, influencing without authority, collaborating across teams, and using data to inform decisions. Your strategic mindset ensures every educational touchpoint supports user success and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision (35%)
– Define and own the long-term education strategy for 200,000+ SME users, guiding them through their entire journey with Pennylane
– Lead cross-functional efforts with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partner Success to embed education into the user experience
– Analyze user behavior to identify learning gaps
– Prioritize effectively across competing needs
– Clearly communicate strategy and progress to stakeholders
– Align teams around educational goals and timelines
User Experience & Content Management (35%)
– Design complete learning ecosystems from onboarding to advanced feature usage
– Create high-quality online courses and content in collaboration with content creators
– Map user journeys and pinpoint key learning moments
– Coordinate and contribute to help center content for new features
– Manage content workflows by assigning the right creators
– Work with Product teams to embed education into the product experience
– Track and improve the educational funnel using analytics
Analytics & Optimization (30%)
– Conduct in-depth data analysis across platforms (Academy, Help Center, in-app guidance, support tickets, product usage)
– Translate data into actionable insights and strategic priorities
– Measure the impact of education on business metrics like adoption, retention, and support volume
– Present complex data in a clear, accessible way
– Conduct user research and turn findings into strategic recommendations
– Continuously improve based on performance metrics and user feedback
– Build and maintain dashboards for real-time educational performance tracking
Essential Skills & Experience
– Strong experience in Customer Education, Product Operations, or Customer Success in a B2B SaaS setting
– Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and align stakeholders across departments
– Excellent writing and content creation skills for educational materials
– Expertise in user journey mapping, education funnel design, and content strategy
– Confident in data-driven decision-making: analytics, KPIs, dashboards, and experimentation
– Fluent in French (native) and English (professional)
– Independent, organized, results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and curiosity
– Bonus: Experience with learning platforms (LMS, Help Centers, in-app guidance) and interest in fintech or accounting tools
