We are currently looking for a driven and detail-focused Help Desk Intern to join our Clinical Informatics Support (CIS) team. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in supporting Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide technical assistance to users, including troubleshooting EMR back-end issues.
– Address help desk tickets and resolve technical issues promptly.
– Help maintain and update CIS documentation and knowledge base content.
– Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
– Contribute to CIS projects and initiatives as needed.
– Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure user satisfaction.
– Uphold the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Knowledge and Skills:
– Basic knowledge of IT services such as password resets and Office 365.
– Foundational understanding of technology and automation.
Qualifications:
– Currently enrolled in a degree program in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
– Basic familiarity with computer hardware, software, and healthcare concepts.
– Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
– Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows.
