We’re currently hiring an Account Director for the Travel Industry to join our growing Enterprise team. This team, a newer part of our organization, focuses on managing and expanding programmatic revenue with holding companies and large brand clients.

As the Travel Account Director, you’ll lead our sales strategy in the travel sector, driving growth by securing new business and strengthening relationships with key clients. You’ll develop and implement strategic plans to win new accounts and grow existing ones, helping us exceed revenue targets in the travel vertical.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven sales professional with a strong ability to open new opportunities. You’ll identify and connect with key decision-makers, expand StackAdapt’s presence, and collaborate with Account Managers to retain and grow current accounts through tailored campaign strategies. Your primary goal will be to drive new business and build lasting client partnerships.

StackAdapt operates as a remote-first company. For this role, we are prioritizing candidates based in the UK.

What You’ll Do:

– Leverage your established travel industry relationships to grow StackAdapt’s presence.
– Identify and pursue new travel brand opportunities in untapped markets, using your lead generation skills to build a strong sales pipeline.
– Lead responses to RFPs and new agency opportunities, including qualification and win strategies.
– Build and maintain relationships with senior executives at agencies and brands.
– Collaborate with internal teams to relay client feedback and contribute to product development.
– Partner with Account Managers to grow and retain accounts by proposing new strategies and solutions.
– Demonstrate the value of StackAdapt’s platform through in-depth product presentations.
– Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates.

What You’ll Bring:

– A strong passion for the travel industry.
– Insight into the travel sector’s challenges and opportunities, and how a DSP can support business growth.
– 5–10+ years of experience at a DSP, SSP, publisher, ad network, ad server, or digital agency.
– Proven success in building and executing sales strategies and driving new business.
– Ability to align programmatic solutions with client goals while meeting revenue targets.
– A well-established network with decision-makers at agencies and brands.
– A solution-focused mindset with the ability to understand and address client needs.
– Deep knowledge of the programmatic landscape and DSP operations.
– Willingness to travel for client meetings and deliver executive-level presentations.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
– A curious, growth-oriented attitude and a track record of exceeding sales goals.
– Experience selling programmatic advertising.
