About the Job:

We are hiring an Epic Application Analyst specializing in Cadence/Prelude.

Our Epic Application Analyst roles range from Level 1 to Level 4. The final level offered will depend on the candidate’s experience, Epic training credentials, and alignment with our organizational culture.

As an Epic Applications Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing, developing, and maintaining the Epic system and related third-party applications. Analysts operate at varying levels of expertise, from entry-level to expert, with increasing autonomy and leadership responsibilities. Duties include providing on-call support, client interaction, and ensuring adherence to software lifecycle standards. Occasionally, you may need to work outside regular hours for special events or staffing needs. This is a remote position and requires a suitable home office setup. Occasional travel may be necessary for Go-Live support or training, which could involve air, car, or train travel.

What You’ll Do:

– System Build and Configuration: Independently research and configure systems to enhance efficiency and patient safety.
– Heuristic Design: Promote effective system use by applying clinical or business knowledge to inform workflows and system design.
– Adapt and Innovate: Embrace change, seek improvements, and think creatively.
– Ensure Accountability: Own your actions, correct errors, and uphold service excellence standards.
– Collaborate and Communicate: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure clear communication.
– Information Technology: Apply knowledge of the systems development life cycle to support ongoing system needs.
– Project Management: Lead projects using established project management methodologies.
– Documentation and Testing: Maintain detailed documentation, create test scripts, and ensure system builds meet standards and user expectations.

Who You Are:

– Hold a 4-year degree or possess equivalent education and experience.
– Have training or demonstrated analytical skills relevant to the role.
– Experience implementing and testing vendor software or working in a healthcare setting is preferred or required, depending on the level.
– Epic experience is required for all levels; Levels 2–4 require current Epic certification or equivalent in the primary application, with additional certifications for higher levels.
– Strong analytical and project management skills, with a background in healthcare information systems, are essential.
– Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
– Comfortable working extensively on a computer.
– Able to communicate effectively in person and through virtual platforms.

Why You’ll Love Us:

– Comprehensive health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits for full-time and part-time employees
– Short-term and long-term disability insurance, plus life insurance
– Competitive compensation
– Tuition reimbursement
– 403(b) retirement savings plan
