About the role:

As a Financial Planner, your enthusiasm for financial planning will guide clients throughout their financial journey. Rather than just answering questions, you’ll explore the deeper motivations behind clients’ goals to create comprehensive investment, tax, and retirement strategies. Your ability to translate these insights into clear, actionable advice will empower clients to make informed decisions. You’ll build trust through excellent communication, helping clients consolidate their assets with Wealthsimple. This role is ideal for a driven, entrepreneurial planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated to meet performance goals while delivering an exceptional client experience.

As a Financial Planner, you will:

– Lead meaningful financial conversations by actively listening and asking thoughtful questions to uncover clients’ true goals.
– Inspire clients to take action with strategic financial advice that helps them see the bigger picture.
– Delight both prospective and existing clients with insightful guidance that supports their financial dreams.
– Encourage clients to consolidate their assets at Wealthsimple through impactful, goal-oriented planning.
– Take ownership of your performance metrics, meeting activity and consolidation targets.
– Provide personalized financial plans and follow up via phone and video to ensure clients benefit fully.
– Leverage technology to enhance the client experience and make financial planning more accessible and effective.

What you bring:

– A CFP designation and at least 4 years of financial planning experience, including direct responsibility for asset consolidation.
– A results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a proven record of success in a high-performance sales environment.
– A strong passion for financial planning and a client-first approach that builds trust through empathy and transparency.
– A curious nature that seeks to understand clients’ deeper motivations and long-term goals.
– Excellent communication skills that simplify complex financial topics, along with comfort using digital tools and AI to improve client experiences.
– Adaptability and a forward-thinking attitude toward the evolving role of technology in financial planning. Bilingualism in French is a significant asset.
